What is Coastline's Legacy Society?
Coastline's Legacy Society is a group of people who believe in providing a quality education for students today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. Legacy Society members enable Coastline Community College to achieve its goals now and into the future.
What Happens When I Join the Coastline Legacy Society?
- You join a group of other individuals who wish to leave their legacy to benefit the community and future generations through education.
- You become more involved with college activities as honored guests at special events such as graduation and participate in regular meetings of the Legacy Society.
- You may also participate in special events planned especially for you, including social activities and luncheons.
- You will be recognized on a permanent basis on Coastline's "Wall of Fame." Recognition may also be established for classrooms or other facilities.
- You will help provide a better life for future generations. Joining the Legacy Society is a positive act you'll be proud of for the rest of your life.
How Do I Join the Coastline Legacy Society?
It takes only $5,000 to join the Coastline Legacy Society. You can help Coastline Community College realize its objectives through many types of donations, including, but not limited to:
- cash donations
- gift by wills or bequests
- pooled income fund
- gift of property (you retain ownership)
- bank account in trust for our institution
- contingent life insurance designation
- charitable remainder trust
- gift of stock or other property/royalties
- name the college foundation as an IRA designate
